You can hide from the world in the mountains.  But not from each other, not from love or hate, and not from madness.

 
Black Mountain was our new project for 2005.   Our aim was to produce a feature length thriller to the highest possible standards we could achieve.

There are two principal characters: Nick and Jan are a couple who both have a history of mental illness.  They are on the run across the mountains of South Wales because one of them has murdered the psychiatrist.  The question is: which one did it, and why?

After several audition sessions during the summer or 2005, we had found our main cast and shooting began in Wales in the September of that year. Our four main actors had to travel many miles to the locations, but all did so willingly and with good spirit. Each shoot was over a long weekend and we continued until winter set in. In February and March of 2006 we had another two weekends shooting interior scenes in Cheddar and Glastonbury. At this point, approximately a third of the footage was 'in the can'.

Unfortunately, due to various problems, since then there has been no progress on the film, other than editing most of the scenes we had already shot. We still hope that one day Black Mountain will be completed in some form. Please watch this page for further news.
